Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated person passionate about philanthropy to assist us with in person general offices duties on a very part time basis, 8.0 hours per week (which may be worked in one day or split over two 4.0 hour days during the week and based upon a regular schedule. There may be an occasional chance to work extra hours if a special project arises. Duties include: Payment of invoices and entry into Quickbooks; bank account and investment account reconciliations in Quickbooks followed by quarterly reports in Quickbooks; updating grant spreadsheets in Excel; assistance in preparing for quarterly meetings followed by assistance in creating new grant files and entering data into ACCESS; monitoring timely receipt of Grant Reports; assistance in preparing for annual audit, creating new general operating folders each year and shifting out the previous year in the filing cabinets; assistance with preparation of 1099s and a 1096; assistance in preparing simple annual reports and spreadsheets; assistance in downsizing paper grant files as needed; assisting in conversion of current forms from Word Perfect to Microsoft Office 365; general office assistance including filing and other miscellaneous projects as the need may arise. Suggested Requirements: * Experience with Quickbooks and Excel is a must * Experience in Microsoft ACCESS is helpful (although will train if necessary) * Good math skills are a must as is attention to detail and good organizational skills Pay is commensurate with experience and may range from $25.00/hr. to $28.00/hr.
