On September 16th, the Chamber is partnering with the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board’s Office of Business Advocacy to educate area businesses and nonprofits about workers’ compensation benefits in New York State.
Topics Include:
Overview of Workers’ Compensation, Disability Benefits & Paid Family Leave.
WC, DB & PFL considerations regarding telecommuting staff, Interns, family members, undocumented workers, part-time staff and independent contractors.
Subcontractors and workers’ compensation.
Tips to lower premiums and get better claims results, etc.
Must register by Friday, September 12th to attend.
